Arishta (Reetha) is a well-known Ayurvedic medicinal fruit valued for its Kapha-Vata pacifying, Krimighna, and Vishaghna properties. Rich in natural saponins, it is traditionally used both internally (in controlled dose) and externally, especially in conditions related to skin disorders, parasitic infestations, poisoning, and Kapha-dominant diseases.
